AVCC's conceptual system architecture for automated and assisted driving compute systems creates a common language for future discussions. Thereby, a functional architecture is outlined and further broken down to also cover information exchange in such compute systems.

The scalability of AD compute systems is discussed further by looking at several potential sample points of performance. Focusing further on the performance requirements of AI parts, the AVCC's benchmarking approach will be introduced.
