Arm Total Solutions for IoT-enabled Software Defined Cameras

Arm has been delivering Arm Total Solutions for IoT to reduce the time to market of IoT products and provide a seamless developer experience by investing its Hardware and Software Ecosystem. Programs like Project Cassini®, SystemReady®, Arm Virtual Hardware (AVH) and Arm Total Solutions for IoT, enabling the development of software in the cloud and deployment of the same software stack across multiple Arm-based platforms on top of which use-cases and applications are deployed as Cloud-Native microservices.

The upcoming Smart Camera reference design integrates key Arm technologies on hardware and software while showcasing some key attributes such as machine learning, security, and cloud native enablement to seamlessly enable battery or powered cameras that. These devices can be easily connected to different cloud service providers (CSPs) for management and deployment of services such as video surveillance.

In this live hands-on session, Arm would like to demonstrate how the same un-modified custom OpenSource Linux Distro (Reference Software stack) can boot on different SystemReady-IR Certified platforms. We will also show how cloud-native workloads can be deployed as containerized micro-services on edge compute devices (physical and virtual) and managed in the Cloud using CSP infrastructure for IoT Device management.
