Leveraging Shift-left Techniques To Design an Efficient Automotive Vision Pipeline for Vehicle Cockpit Displays
Implementing an automotive surround view display system presents some unique system design challenges. These challenges can be managed using shift-left techniques. In practice, creating a “better-together” implementation using Arm Mali ISP and GPU revealed several lessons learned.
In this presentation, we will share the lessons learned in leveraging simulation and early application SW development to prove the viability of this new Arm “better-together” system architecture for automotive vision pipelines. We will share how a combination of shift-left techniques were used to prove HW design efficiency, facilitate early application SW development, and validate system architecture without silicon.
