Arm Service Tokens: a flexible way to access Support and Training services

Every project hits some hurdles

Did you ever find that you needed more training during a project due to changes in your team? Maybe one of your engineers left and you had to add someone new to the project. Or you hired a new graduate who has not worked with Arm-based IP before.

Or perhaps you got to the RTL stage of your design, but needed someone to double check it to give you extra confidence and reduce risk?

Did you ever encounter a critical design issue that could have benefited from having an Arm engineer on your site to resolve it quickly?

Be prepared with Service Tokens

To enable our partners to plan for additional services that might be needed, Arm has created Service Tokens. Services Tokens are a flexible way for your team to plan financially for any extra support needed during the project. You can decide which services to use them with, and when they are required. Tokens are valid for a twelve-month period and can be exchanged for Training, Design Reviews, or onsite support.

Here is what you can redeem your Service Tokens for:

• Training: You can use your tokens to upskill your team in the way that best suits them. We provide training on all Arm products and technologies. Our courses can be delivered face-to-face, by live virtual classroom, or through the Arm on-demand online training platform.
• Design Reviews: We offer expert reviews at key stages of the design process, helping you to optimize your Arm-based SoC designs. We provide advice from the most experienced Arm engineers in the industry. Our range of Design Reviews includes Architecture, CryptoCell Security and RTL Reviews in the early stages. We also offer Physical Implementation review or Consultancy services, Trusted Firmware and Power Management, and Linux Power and Thermal Frameworks reviews.
• On-site services: If you have a specific issue and you need extra support, we can send one of our experts to your site for direct support. We also provide consultancy services like Reference Flow or Physical Design consultancy.

What do I get with my Service Tokens?

Here are some examples of services you could exchange for 15 Service Tokens:

• A three-day face-to-face (on-site) training course, for example Cortex-M efficient system design course, or
• Three days of onsite support from an Arm Engineer, or
• A limited two-day Design Review.

Why use Service Tokens instead of buying services separately?

The main advantage of using Service Tokens is their flexibility. This flexibility allows you to select the most appropriate services when they are required, so there is no need to decide upfront. Having Service Tokens allow you to access services quickly, preventing delays to your project.

So, depending on the hurdles that you face during your project, you may wish to exchange your tokens for on-site support, a Design Review, or Training.
