Choosing the right Arm IP for your next design just got a whole lot easier.

What Is the Virtual FAE?

Think of it as your AI Field Application Engineer. It is trained on Arm’s technical documentation, product marketing materials, and platform metadata. You can ask it natural language questions such as:

  • “What Arm IP should I use for my project?”
  • “Compare Cortex-M55 and Cortex-M85.”
  • “Which subsystem is best for low-power IoT designs?”

The Virtual FAE only responds when it has reliable information. This means you can explore with confidence.

Why it matters

If you have ever searched across multiple pages to find the right IP data, you know how valuable this is.

The Virtual FAE brings together technical details, feature comparisons, and design insights all in one place. Since its launch in July, the Virtual FAE has received strong engagement and positive feedback from users exploring Arm IP.

We continue to invest in the Virtual FAE experience by expanding its data sources to provide even richer, more reliable answers.

Try it yourself

You will find the Virtual FAE directly inside IP Explorer:

  1. Register or sign in.
  2. Click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner.
  3.  Ask your first question and let the Virtual FAE do the rest.

Tip: If you are new to IP Explorer, registration is quick and easy - IP Explorer is a browser-based cloud tool, so there is no installation required.
