21.35 FRAME RETURN ADDRESS
FRAME RETURN ADDRESS directive provides for functions that use a register other than LR for their return address.
FRAME RETURN ADDRESS
is the register used for the return address.
FRAME RETURN ADDRESS directivein any function that does not use LR for its return address. Otherwise,a debugger cannot backtrace through the function.
You can only use
FRAME RETURN ADDRESS within functions with
ENDP directives. Use it immediately after the
PROC directive that introduces the function.
Any function that uses a register other than LR for its return address is not AAPCS compliant. Such a function must not be exported.
