MOV (to or from SP)

Move between register and stack pointer.

This instruction is an alias of ADD (immediate).

Syntax

MOV Wd|WSP, Wn|WSP ; 32-bit general registers

Equivalent to ADD Wd|WSP, Wn|WSP, #0.

MOV Xd|SP, Xn|SP ; 64-bit general registers

Equivalent to ADD Xd|SP, Xn|SP, #0.

Where:

Wd|WSP

Is the 32-bit name of the destination general-purpose register or stack pointer.

Wn|WSP

Is the 32-bit name of the source general-purpose register or stack pointer.

Xd|SP

Is the 64-bit name of the destination general-purpose register or stack pointer.

Xn|SP

Is the 64-bit name of the source general-purpose register or stack pointer.

Operation

Rd = Rn, where R is either W or X.
