- All events are counted in 64-bit wrapping counters that overflow when they wrap.
There is no support for overflow status indication or interrupts.
- Any change in clock frequency, including when a WFI and WFE instruction stops the clock, can affect any counter.
- Events 0, 1, 2, and 3 are fixed, and the AMEVTYPER<n> evtCount bits are read-only.
- Event 4 is programmable at the highest Exception level implemented, and the AMEVTYPER<n> evtCount bits are read-write. For more information, see Table C3-1 Mapping of counters to fixed events.
