2.4.2. Daughterboard shutdown because of excessive temperature

Both FPGAs have an associated red LED that signifies excessive FPGA temperature, D20 for FPGA 1, and D21 for FPGA 2. See Figure 1.1 for the location of these LEDs on the daughterboard. Each LED illuminates when the internal FPGA temperature exceeds approximately 70°C.

If the internal temperature of the FPGA exceeds 80°C, the MCC powers down the daughterboard to prevent damage.
