GICR_PARTIDR, Set PARTID and PMG Register

The GICR_PARTIDR characteristics are:

Purpose

Sets the PARTID and PMG values used for memory accesses by the Redistributor.

Configuration

This register is present only when GIC, >=3.1 is implemented. Otherwise, direct accesses to GICR_PARTIDR are RES0.

A copy of this register is provided for each Redistributor.

When GICR_TYPER.MPAM==0, this register is RES0.

Attributes

GICR_PARTIDR is a 32-bit register.

Reserved, RES0.

PMG, bits [23:16]

PMG value used when Redistributor accesses memory.

It is IMPLEMENTATION DEFINED whether bits not needed to represent PMG values in the range 0 to PMG_MAX are stateful or RES0.

PARTID, bits [15:0]

PARTID value used when Redistributor accesses memory.

It is IMPLEMENTATION DEFINED whether bits not needed to represent PARTID values in the range 0 to PARTID_MAX are stateful or RES0.

Accessing the GICR_PARTIDR

GICR_PARTIDR can be accessed through the memory-mapped interfaces:

This interface is accessible as follows:

  • When GICD_CTLR.DS == 0b0 access to this register is RW.
  • When IsAccessSecure() access to this register is RW.
