reverse-step

Steps back through an application a specified number of source lines at a time, stepping into all function calls.

Note

You must compile your code with debug information to use this command successfully.

Syntax

reverse-step [count]

Where:

count
Specifies the number of source lines to rewind. The default is one line.
Note Execution stops immediately if a breakpoint is reached, even if fewer than count source lines are executed.
Note Reverse stepping is unaware of inline functions and might not operate correctly in highly optimized code. Use unoptimized code for the best debug experience.
