The Samsung Chromebook is based on a Samsung Exynos 5250 SoC, with an Arm Cortex-A15 (MP2) processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and Arm Mali-T604 (MP4) GPU, delivering a responsive user experience. Accelerate your games, UIs and other applications with OpenGL® ES 3.0 and offload computationally intensive work to the OpenCL™ 1.1 full profile capable GPU to save energy and boost performance.

By implementing an Arm processor the Samsung Chromebook doesn’t require a fan and has over 6 hours of battery life.
