ArcSoft logo

ArcSoft is a world pioneer in advanced photo and video imaging technologies. Many of our technologies have been integrated across devices with major platforms – from smartphones, tablets, feature phones, PCs and smart TVs to cameras. Over 500 million mobiles use ArcSoft technologies and two out of the top three digital camera brands incorporate our software.

With ArcSoft’s established B2B experience and deep imaging science as a foundation, we are packaging our best offerings into direct-to-consumer mobile apps for smart phones and tablets, with key titles including Whip® social photo album and our award-winning Perfect365® one-touch photo enhancement.

We are also building on our advanced technologies and distribution channels to grow a SaaS (Software as a Service) business for consumers in specific markets such as IP cameras.

GPU Compute

GPU optimization is one of ArcSoft’s key areas of focus in photo and video processing.  In leveraging the GPU, many multimedia processes which include image manipulation, image stitching, video playback, video upscaling and media encoding can be accelerated and done more efficiently as a direct result of being able to offload significant CPU resources.  This is a critical element in attaining the best possible performance and user experience.
