Common Licensing Errors

These are some of the common licensing errors that you might come across in Arm software products.

Product Configuration Errors

Error 9511E: Unable to determine the current toolkit Arm Compiler 5, Arm Compiler 6
Error 9519E: The toolchain installation is corrupt Arm Compiler 5, Arm Compiler 6
Error 9521E: File I/O error when determining the current toolkit Arm Compiler 5, Arm Compiler 6
Error 9546E: License has expired Arm Compiler 5, Arm Compiler 6
Errors 9549E, 9550E, and 9552E: Feature <feature> is not available with the current toolkit and license Arm Compiler 5, Arm Compiler 6
Error 9580E: <target> is not available with the current toolkit and license Arm Compiler 5, Arm Compiler 6

Node-locked license errors

Error code and message
FlexNet licensing error -1: Cannot find license file
FlexNet licensing error -5: No such feature exists
FlexNet licensing error -8: Invalid (inconsistent) license key
FlexNet licensing error -9: Invalid host. The hostid of this system does not match the hostid specified in the license file
FlexNet licensing error -10: Feature has expired
FlexNet licensing error -21: Application version > License version
FlexNet licensing error -30: Cannot read license file
FlexNet licensing error -88: The system clock has been set back
FlexNet licensing error -89: This platform not authorized by license
FlexNet licensing error -103: Terminal Server remote client not allowed

Floating license errors

Error code and message
FlexNet licensing error -1: Cannot find license file
FlexNet licensing error -4: Licensed number of users already reached
FlexNet licensing error -12: Invalid data returned from server system
FlexNet licensing error -14: Unable to resolve the license server IP address
FlexNet licensing error -15: Cannot connect to license server system
FlexNet licensing error -18: License server system does not support this feature
FlexNet licensing error -25: License server system does not support this version of the feature
FlexNet licensing error -34: System date/time is not the same as the license server
FlexNet licensing error -38: User/host on EXCLUDE list for feature
FlexNet licensing error -39: User/host not on INCLUDE list for feature
FlexNet licensing error -68: License BORROW support not enabled
FlexNet licensing error -83: FLEXnet Licensing version of client newer than server
FlexNet licensing error -96: License server machine is down or not responding
FlexNet licensing error -97: The desired vendor daemon is down
