Dream Chip Technologies GmbH is a fabless design service company, based in Germany. They specialize in ASIC and SoC development services. They have 110 employees with a special focus on functional safety in the Automotive market.

With an average SoC and ASIC design experience of 12 years DCT provides the complete portfolio starting from IC architecture to mass production. With choosing the right process node and foundry we can guarantee ASIC lifetimes of more than 10 years, especially for the industrial market, by taking full responsibility for prototyping and testing until production.

Functional Safety related services

Dream Chip Technologies supports its SoC customers by coaching the engineering teams for functional safety process introduction, support for ISO26262 documentation for SoC developments like DIA, Safety Concept and Safety Manual. Furthermore, we support the Safety Analysis with techniques such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA.

During the SoC design Dream Chip architects and designs complete and complex multiprocessor SoCs targeted on automotive ADAS and autonomous driving applications in the most advanced silicon technologies like 28nm, 22nm, 14/16 nm with support of ASIL A, B, C and D levels. Dream Chip Technologies manages the ISO26262 preparation and qualification of SoC designs for later TÜV certifications.
