Arm-specific features

RenderDoc for Arm GPUs adds the following extensions:

Applications using Vulkan ray tracing	Support capture and replay of applications using VK_EXT_opacity_micromap for device-side acceleration structure builds Support for ray query shader debugging Ray tracing pipeline state viewing Ray tracing acceleration structure visualisation
Applications on Android devices	Improve RenderDoc compatibility with devices from a range of Android device manufacturers Support automatic configuration of required application storage permissions for the target Android application Support capture and replay on a device with additional user-defined Vulkan layers installed Supports opening captures on the remote device directly, rather than transferring to the host machine
Applications on automotive Linux devices	Support capture and replay of applications running on Arm Linux target devices that are using the MUSL C library instead of the GNU C Library (glibc) Configuration settings are automatically synchronized between host and remote by default Supports opening captures on the remote device directly, rather than transferring to the host machine
Applications with neural graphics	Support capture and replay of applications that use Arm's Neural Graphics Development Kit to implement and evaluate AI-based upscaling technologies such as Neural Super Sampling (NSS). Support Arm ML extensions for Vulkan. Support visualization of tensors as buffers or images.
Developers using MacOS	Support pre-built macOS builds of the RenderDoc GUI tool.

Note: Vulkan acceleration structure builds are only supported for device-side builds. Host-side builds are not supported.
