Altia’s user interface development software offers a concept to code solution for production user interfaces.

Our GUI editor, Altia Design, gives developers the capability to implement a model-based development process for clear communication and accelerated user interface development. Altia Design offers users the option to work with advanced 3D. Altia 3D users can import FBX files from any 3D tool directly into Altia Design with all 3D scene hierarchies and animations intact. Developers get ultimate power to update 3D content and create sophisticated animations directly in Altia Design — and the changes they make to their model are exactly what will show up on hardware. The Altia 3D material library includes commonly used automotive materials – car paint, rubber, leather, glass, aluminium, etc. – that have been tested and optimized for embedded applications; shader source is provided for full, customization flexibility. Altia 3D users also gain the capability to add over 20 different post-processing effects to their GUIs which can be activated at runtime. Finally, because of the unique code architecture available with Altia, the possibility of 3D opens up to even lower power hardware.

Our code generator, Altia DeepScreen, supports a vast range of low to high-powered processors. Altia generates pure C source code that is optimized to take full advantage of hardware resources.
